The Bible does not take away women's rights. It starts with the assumption that they have no rights - that they are merely property. Therefore, any little crumb of good treatment it gives to women is their justification for giving them rights.
The Koran does the same thing.
They both argue from an initial false assumption.
In ancient northern Europe, the women had equal rights, could own property, and make life decisions on their own. Their only requirement was to maintain a position of honor and courage. That is why the Christians had such a tough time selling the religion to northern Europeans, and had to resort to coercion.
"A furore Normannorum libera nos, Domine, (From the fury of the Northmen deliver us, O Lord.)"

First Corinthians:
14:34 - Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
14:35 - And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
Ephesians:
5:23 - For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
5:24 - Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
First Timothy:
2:9 - In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
2:10 - But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
2:11 - Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
2:12 - But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
2:13 - For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
2:14 - And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
2:15 - Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
Second Timothy:
3:6 - For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
3:7 - Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Those are some of them..

well, the patriarchal Hebrew tribal elite outlined their misogyny starting from the very first chapter
Gen 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall RULE OVER THEE (my emphasis).
and i could sit here all day cutting and pasting all the many ways that the Bible undermines the feminine esteem but i'm not gonna do your research for you.

Plz do not consider this as an abuse.............
Deuteronomy Ch. 22, New English Bible 1971 at 220-21.
If a bridegroom accuses his bride (whom he expected to be a virgin) of NOT being a virgin, the girl's mother and father would have to bring the, bloodied marriage consummation sheets to the town elders to prove that she was a virgin. If they presented unbloodied sheets, that would be considered proof that she was not a virgin (which is silly) and she would be summarily executed by stoning in front of her father's home "because she committed a disgraceful act in Israel by being faithless to her father's household." [See Deut 22:13-21]
if any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her, 14 And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: 15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate: 16 And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her; 17 And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. 18 And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him; 19 And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. 20 But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: 21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the ***** in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.
