Actually the Air Force does not give you BAH or BAQ differential anymore for child support, they did away with that in January 2006. Now, they just give you BAH with Dependent no matter what if you have court ordered child support to pay.

I am not sure about the other branches though.

nope. the military is not there to fund your choices in life.

you can receive BAH at the with dependent rate if you are unmarried and have a court order to pay child support BUT it is not full BAH, it is BAH Differential, which is usually the difference between single and W/Dependents. and ther eis a ceiling, usually under $200/month.

Nope, you pay it from your base pay. In order to qualify the child as a dependent, you have to have custody.

yes and no... There is extra pay if you have dependents. Doesnt matter if that dependent is your wife or a minor child. I believe its BAQ, BAH or something. It varies with rank.

I believe that if you claim them as a dependent you can get BAH with Dependents.

There is a family allowance. Each individual dependent is accounted for.
