Is it offensive to you? Does it give you pause to think? Can you see the humour in it? Can you laugh with them or does it just anger you? Is it irrelevant and not worth responding to?
Is it a uniting force or a divisive force in trying to bring together people of different beliefs?

I like the humour aspect of it but I don't like the 'baiting' aspect of it. I'm not a Christian but I find it offensive to my spiritual beliefs. (i.e. - compassion for all and harmony with the world and its inhabitants)
Its easy to criticize someone with sarcasm but that does little to bring people closer together - and thats really whats needed.
Like I said, I enjoy the humour aspect of it but it is losing its humour value because it is being used now as a weapon, and I don't like humour being used as a weapon (its OK to use humour for social commentary but one has to be careful not to go too far - its a fine line but an important consideration)
