Of course it is, there are a lot of things in the bible that are not scientifically proven or disproven like the exsistance of Moses. We have to believe by faith that it is all 100% true....therein lies power. Believe it all.

It's all done by faith - our lives, if we accept a belief system of any kind, are ruled by our faith.

Faith must be unwavering in the face of adversity.
We accept our God (whomsoever He/She may be, and whatever they are called) on faith alone. Doctrine comes from either inspired leadership or holy books or both and we MUST have faith to follow the words spoken to us either by word of mouth or from the books themselves.

Simple answer to your question is YES!

Belief in God is by faith. If a person does not accept that the books of the bible were written or inspired by God. Then I say their faith is lacking.

Yes. But its a leap up.

The first leap of faith is a belief in the non-specific devine. (A god, a goddess or any supreme being or force, flying spaghetti monster, the force from Star Wars).

The second is the belief of a specific devine entity or force.

The third leap up is the belief of a general doctrine, faith dogma, spiritual beliefs.

The fourth leap up it to have narrowed your beliefs to a very specific spiritual set of rules and regulations, a set of prayers or incantations songs etc.

Often times people try to sell people on the 4th leap before they have made the first. It often does not work.

I have more faith in the scientific mind of God that is recorded in The Bible, Torah and The Dead Sea Scrolls than in any science book written by the smartest human scientist on Earth past, present or future.

Anything that cannot be inexplicably proven (see it, touch it, etc.) is believed in through Faith. We love God by Faith, we know God through the Scriptures.

But true faith is a gift from God.

It is revelation from God.

It comes from hearing, and hearing from God's word.

It is having your eyes opened by God.

When God is known then His word is known too.

But for those dead to God they cannot understand.

Then all religions seem the same and seem pointless and foolish. Sadly they then think that they are superior.

Please help spread the word that god is imaginary and the bible is repulsive.
We can all live better and more freely if you will prove to yourself that god is
imaginary and Christians are delusional.
