God is not negative regarding sex (that He created).
God is positive about sex in the proper setting, marriage. In fact God blessed humans, saying: "Be fertile and multiply." (Genesis 1:28)
God is concerned with how we treat each other.
We have been instructed to love
+ Our neighbor as we love ourselves
+ One another as Jesus loved us
When we treat each other like sex objects, when sex is taking instead of giving, we damage the human dignity of both our partner and ourselves.
True giving of yourself to another in a sacramental marriage is what love is all about.
Marriage is a symbol of God's creation of the world in an act of divine love and self-outpouring.
Marriage is a symbol of the love, commitment, intensity, and passion of Christ for the Church for which He laid down His life.
Christians take sex very seriously because it is a glorious gift from God that lets us feel just a bit like God. We become lovers, givers, and creators.
With love in Christ

I don't think that God OR the Bible is negative about sex. Sex, like everything else was designed for a purpose. God considers human sexuality to be Sacred.
But like anything else, sex can be used as a weapon (literally or metaphorically) just as a hammer can be used to create something or to kill someone.
Sex, in its proper context, is a Holy act. But when performed for selfish purposes, it can cause misery such as the things you mention in your question.

God isn't negative regarding sex, dear one. In fact, He CREATED sex as a way to further the human race, as well as for married couples to fully enjoy each other and bond as one.
He also made it clear that sex outside of marriage is a sin because it hurts people. Ever hear of STDs and unwanted pregnancies?
God only wants the very best for His creation, that's why He has written a "warning label" Read it and God bless!

It is not "sex" in general being referred to. The Bible teaches and denounces sinful sexual acts such as sex outside marriage, adultery and prostitution. Sex is a beautiful thing God had given to MARRIED COUPLES to enjoy and use as an emotional, physical and spiritual binder.

Yes. God is the Creator of all human, creature and the Universe. Thus, He create man and woman , completely to have marriage sex . This to produce next generations and so on. Same go for the animals. And this earth is for ours so call : "Training " ground . We are fighting against pre marital sex, sex lust, sex diseases , Aids, etc. God want us to follow his commandments correctly., in order , to get ourselves ready for so call " Entry " requirements of the 10 commandments of God.
Note, God know if we ignored His commands, then now, we are the ones suffering from sex-related diseases, Aids, etc, . That's why God has hinted to us " NOT" To have multiple sex partners.
Sad news is that this Aids or HIV patients are increasing in numbers, and not decreasing , over this years.

Simple really, making so many aspects of sex sinful created a nice little revenue stream for the church, mostly in the form of Oxen, Goats, Turtledoves and Pigeons.
Good old Leviticus here was very thorough in his price lists, and, no doubt, one of the reasons the phrase "wages of sin" came about.
About touching a menstruating woman...you can expect to fork out:
"15:14 And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:
15:15 And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD for his issue."
how about sleeping in the same bed as a woman menstruating, that sir will be...
15:29 And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
maybe you would prefer to part with some other livestock, no problemo!
16:3 Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.
16:5 And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.
16:6 And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house.
16:7 And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
Leviticus is just a bundle of joy on this and so many other things that you can do wrong, and make up for with a small donation!

I think the answers are in your first statement. unwanted children, sexual diseases, emotional damage, etc. I don't think God is negative regarding sex.
ALL sins are the same in Gods eyes. Calling someone a fool is one Jesus mentions. We are all sinners! That is why Jesus died for us.

Paul and co. believed that the second coming would occur within their lifetimes, which meant that -- to them -- sex was an unnecessary distraction. Christianity has never gotten over that attitude.
Judaism, on the other hand, celebrates healthy sexuality. As you can imagine, people have different ideas what exactly that constitutes.

Have you EVER read the Song of Songs??????
Sex in the RIGHT context is the most amazing, beautiful and perfect gift! Of course it's good. But when you corrupt it, it's as evil as anything can be. Sexual sin is NOT just about sex...it's about the corruption of what was intended to be beautiful. It's about the mindset of total selfishness and hedonism, which is defiance against God.
"The world's great civilizations have progressed through
this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; from
spiritual faith to great courage; from courage to liberty;
from liberty to abundance; from abundance to selfishness;
from selfishness to complacency; from complacency to
apathy; from apathy to dependence; from dependence back
again into bondage."
Alexander Tyler (ca.1770)

He's not negative regarding sex per se. I mean, Song of Songs is very erotic, and sex is treated as a beautiful thing.
Methinks it's more of the misuse of sex that He doesn't like.
