I can pull it back in a ponytail now, but if I wear it down it looks horrible. The sides are really thick and flipping out! I want to grow it out, but still have a style to it. Links, ideas? Please I'm desperate!

i'm growing to be to be my hair out from an rather short boyish haircut genuine right into a mid-neck length bob. it rather is now rather on incredible of my jawline in front in spite of the easy fact that it rather is mid-neck on the decrease back of my neck. I actual have bangs shrink promptly during my brow. It took me 11 months to get it to the area it rather is now. i will advance it out yet yet another 2-3 inches and then i gets rather maintenance cuts from then on. you will desire to no longer be able to make your hair advance any faster than it rather is now. you're waiting to think of a million/2 - a million inch consistent with month. I rather use mousse and a around brush to type it on an well-known foundation. each and every so many times i make the main hairspray on the section to maintain it neat on windy days. i ask your self if the size you indicated is truthfully a bob. Bobs are rather meant to be mid-neck length or shorter. Yours feels like a pageboy. you could type a pageboy a matching way you do a bob.

go for a trim with a trusted hairdresser and let them know you are growing out your hair, I am the queen of wanting to change my hair and impatience with how long it takes to grow out later but I have learned to accept small trims can make the transition that much less painful. also you can take some of the weight of the hair away from your face if you don't have bangs by taking small sections of hair around your face and using various barrettes to twist them onto the top of your head or you could try two small pigtails instead of the ponytail

Vitamins and time.
Healthy hair starts with healthy body. Take your vitamins. Eat your vegetables. Quit drinking coffee and sodas which strip your body of vitamins. Drink fruit juices. Choose salads and raw veggies over greasy hamburgers, nuts over potato chips, vegetable soups or leftovers over bacon and eggs, whole wheat instead of white bread, take a daily multi-vitamin, drink plenty of water, and exercise regularly.
An all-over trim every 4 weeks will help with the ends. My stylist recommends a shampoo with more vitamins in it than chemicals.
I know, I know, this sounds corny. But at least my hair and skin are still good, even at my age!
