Asculapius is the son of Apollo and had the power to heal.
Asclepius raised mortals from the dead,

Doesn't that sound like Jesus? Shouldn't we call him by his rightful name?

This is a strong possibility...

You might also want to look into a number of other "gods" and "prophets" whose histories were known by the time the Bible came along. The sun god of Egypt, Horus, stands out as a very obvious possibility as does Myra of the middle eastern region.

I'm inclined to think that there really was no "Jesus" at all but only stories of "Jesus." I'm inclined to think that he was a character of the Bible and that "he and his story" were composed from several previously known figures - some true and some false.

It's a curiously probable hypothesis that calls for the earnest efforts of historians and scientists alike.

Yes. He changed his name because all his boyhood friends called him " Ascul ", for short, ---and later some wise-asses deliberately mispronounced "Ascul " to sound like the rectal opening.---That really embarrassed him, but it was a whole lot better than what they had been calling him, ( " Mary's little bas tard ").

So he picked up on the alias "Jesus " because he had a fondness for Mexican food, and the name had that mystical charm that one needs to be a big-time faith -healer.

"Jesus" is most probably an entirely fictional chap who is an amalgam of a dozen or more "miracle-worker" chaps (also mostly imaginary) who were around when and before most of the Jesus stories were written/rewritten

Aesculapius received the gift of prophesy by having snakes lick his ears.

Jesus prefered his snakes in other places.

Jesus is a fairy tale. God is imaginary.
Please help spread the word that god is a fairy tale so we can all live better and more freely.
