The essence is that to draw him is an insult, so who ever does it is 'taking the micheal'. The question is why do some, !!SOME!! feel the need to act in this way, that is a much harder question. I always feel a stern letter does the job. I believe it lies in their culture which is based on a religion that is as old as anyones.
I don't think you can blame the religion for the action of its members, although we do with everything. But this is a volitile time for muslims, so to hear these things isn't a surprise, in probably deprived parts of Nigeria, and to be honest it was men not a religion that may or may not have done that.

First of all, you need to see the area that it happened in and then you can talk about it. Nigeria is known to have all these conflicts within it. They have so many tribal and cultural conflicts everyday.
