Safety of having Plain (no color but see through) and tinted (gray, black, light green, azurite color but see through) glass?

With plain colorless glass, is it true that in daylinght people inside the house can see outside but from outside you can't see much what is going on inside the house ? And in the night time, people from outside can see whats going on inside but people from inside cant see much whats going on outside? So, for a plain glass, the source of light location makes the difference?

Is it the reverse for 'tinted grey glass' ?

We are experts in window film applications which will provide daytime privacy. The physics of tinted glass or window films is exactly the same..so:
It isn't the tint that creates the mirror effect it's the metals in the glass coating or inter-layer or the film that reflect light and heat. In the daylight hours thyere would be privacy . At night the opposite unless you shine lighting diirectly at the glass from the exterior.

There are tinted films that have zero metals (ceramic films) like Huper Optik http://www.huperoptikusa.com that can reduce the reflectivity of glass while rejecting heat, etc . These films and glass with similar properties would not give you privavcy but the up side is your windows will not look like a mirror. Many people prefer a non-reflective look for curb appeal.

Best bet for privacy?? Get blinds!!

Tinted Glass For House Windows

These days most people say they can't live without a cell phone. We live off my husbands income because we decided me being a stay at home mom would be best for our kids. So we have an extremely tight budget. We have a house phone and got trac phones FOR ER USE ONLY. We pay for the minutes and only use them when we need it. Believe it or not it is possible to live without constant contact. In fact it's actually a little liberating. When I get home I check messages and return calls. I have my internet as DSL so it's through my land phone (we don't watch tv beyond movies so we don't have cable. Any shows we happen to want to watch we watch online and I get a world of other info and communication with the internet -- and hey, I don't sit in front of the pc all day either!) Anyway, trac phone for emergency purposes and land line. That way telemarketers, or when your on hold with a credit card company or something for a half hour doesn't eat your minutes up.
