What if you were physically held down and forced to get it,but in your heart you were not of it? Since God sees the heart and knows who is who, doesn't this defeat the supposed purpose of said mark?

You poor thing! Can you imagine a god who would punish you for something someone else did to you? Christianity is so complicated, isn't it? I have many Christian friends and none of them agree on anything. LOL

NO, I would have to say I wouldn't. Unless I knew for sure it wasn't the mark. The bible clearly states in Revelation 9 -- He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This is where the RFID chips are coming in. It may not be the mark, but something like it. It has to be in the hand or head, which they are implanting the chips in your body, and like they are saying, these chips will be very popular, helping us. Look up RFID on youtube and see for yourself.

The verse just prior to this states that all who do not worship the image of the beast will be put to death. If I am around at that time, I will already have died gladly.

However, Jesus Himself said that there is an 'escape' from these things. Luke 21:34-36 He is saying to watch and pray that we might be accounted worthy to ESCAPE all these things that shall come to pass. No, the word rapture is not found in the bible, it is man's word for God's plan to take us out of the way before the trouble begins. Rev 3:10 says "I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them..."

I don't plan on being here. My plan is with Christ. If I read incorrectly His word, then I will, again, die gladly! I don't think the AC will take rejection well...

This "mark" is not literal. Revelation 13:17, 18 says "Nobody might be able to buy or sell except a person having the mark, the name of the wild beast or the number of its name. Here is where wisdom comes in: Let the one that has intelligence calculate the number of the wild beast, for it is a man's number; and its number is six hundred and sixty-six."
Some believe that 666 signifies some form of compulsory identification, such as a tattoo or an implanted microchip with a digital code that identifies the person as a servant of the beast.
The real meaning is those having the mark of the beast proclaim their servitude to the beast. Thus, the mark, whether on the right hand or on the forehead, figuratively speaking, is a symbol that identifies its bearer as one who gives worshipful support to the beastlike political systems of the world. Those having the mark give to "Caesar" that which rightly belongs to God. (Luke 20:25; Revelation 13:4, 8; 14:1) How? By giving worshipful honor to the political state, its symbols, and its military might, to which they look for hope and salvation. Any worship that they render the true God is merely lip service.

You are not going to get the mark that way, The Antichrist wants you to receive the mark by choice, he wants you to choose him over Christ, so that is why you'll not be able to buy food, and will be put to death, if you don't receive it. The Antichrist won't be interested if you eat or not, all he wants is your soul. Taking you down and putting the mark on you will serve no purpose for him. It would only benefit you. How God will look it that, I don't know.

It is by choice not by force.YOu have to understand the bible in order to know what the mark of the beast is.You have to consider the old testament particularly the book of Daniel as well as the New Testament which is the Book of the Revelation.

I think the more realistic interpretation of the mark is that it would include a denial of god. Even if I were a Christian, I wouldn't worry about prophecy that much as it's unlikely to be easily seen until after it's happening.

Maybe, but that will be a very rare case. I think most, will run for it, It will start off with something along the line of

"in an effort to prevent Identity theft, we will now do away with money, and credit cards replace with a unique bar code on the individual."

Talk about a reluctant obligation. I know that sounds redundant to some. Anyway, that's defeating the purpose of free will. If we were all given free will, we should be able to deal with the consequences.

No one will be FORCED to take the mark. However, to NOT take it, people won't be able to buy or sell food and necessary goods.

I thank God I will not be here when that happens!

God bless!
