Yes you can. It is one of the most horrid deaths you can have. It will takes days and days for someone to die from a paracetamol overdose. It could start to damage your organs with in an hour and once the damage is done you will die slowly, even if you then get treatment. Don't ever even consider it. If you are feeling suicidal call someone and get help. Call a doctor, an hospital, a friend, the Samaritans anyone, but DON'T take paracetamol, or anything else for that matter!

It is possible, yes. That is why you are legally only allowed to buy a small amount from any shop.
Please don't try this, it is a very unpleasant way to die.
Death can take a long time and is a slow and very paiinful process... your organs begin to fail and your body has no way of repairing the damage once it is done.
You think that you will take the tablets and then go to sleep, this won't happen -- been there and tried it! Lucky for me I got to hospital in time but I had to spend a week on a drip. Not what I thought would happen.

If you are thinking about taking an overdose, or you have already taken anything, please go to your nearest Accident & Emergency department. People there will be able to help you.

Yes you can
Overdose
Doses greater than 7g are considered very serious, while a dose of 15g (200mg/kg) is potentially fatal in most cases. The LDLO for Paracetamol is 143mg/kg. Following the ingestion of an overdose of paracetamol, patients may remain asymptomatic for the first 24 hours or, at the most develop anorexia, nausea and vomiting.
The clinical features of paracetamol overdose are:
Day 1
Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, anorexia
Day 2
May become asymptomatic
Vomiting
Hepatic tenderness ± generalised abdominal pain
Occasionally, mild jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes)
Day 3 (in severe untreated poisoning)
Jaundice -> liver failure -> hepatic encephalopathy
Back pain + renal angle tenderness -> renal failure
Disseminated intravascular coagulation
Cardiac arrhythmia -> cardiac arrest
Pancreatitis
Maximum liver damage occurs usually 72 to 96 hours after ingestion. The management of paracetamol overdose includes gastric lavage, administration of activated charcoal, etc. It is very important to report the suspected overdose as soon as possible, usually no later than 8 hours after ingestion of the overdose. Late (>24 hours) management of the overdose may have very serious consequences, and the treatment may include dialysis and eventually liver transplantation.
Remember: If you suspect you have overdosed the paracetamol, contact your doctor immediately - the sooner the better and you will save yourself a lot of trouble later on. The test for liver damage may eventually include simple blood or urine test

Yes, you can overdose on paracetamol, it is a very very painful way of doing things. If the paracetamol doesnt kill you you will be left with very severe damage to your kidneys and liver, the pain is excruciating and a woman i know who tried to top herself with paracetamol has regretted it ever since. Please dont try it, with some hard work your life CAN get better. Please please please dont, you are worth more than being dead, even if you cant see it yourself right now. It always looks negative when you are in the depths of severe depression, but other people can see the good in you and the fact that your life is worth something to them should make you stop and think.

Paracetamol is one of the worst drugs to overdose on. Even a small amount can cause fatal liver damage. A friend of a friend died after taking only a small amount.

When your body breaks down paracetamol, about five per cent of your dose is converted to a chemical which can be toxic. Normally, your liver can deal with this small amount. If, however, you take too much paracetamol, your liver won't be able to cope. This leads to liver damage or, if enough is taken, death.

Yes, but if you're planning on trying to kill yourself with an overdose, it's the most unreliable way to do it.
Also, even if you take 100 tablets of paracetamol, it's not like you'll go to sleep and die peacefully - it will take days to weeks to die of a paracetamol overdose, and you'll die an excruciatingly painful death from liver failure, you'll be very unwell, you'll start bleeding from everywhere, internally and externally, you'll be vomiting constantly and in severe pain........not to mention the fact that you'll be put straight to the top of the list for a liver transplant, ahead of all the people who have liver failure for reasns outwith their control, and they may then die because you get the liver transplant they should have had.
Don't do it. Likely, you wouldn't die anyway, because someone would find out and take you to hospital and you'd be treated with the antidote.
But trust me - it's not a nice, peaceful way to die - it's one of the worst possible ways.

Yes you can and believe me it is a terrible thing to do, I have done it several times and it made me VERY, VERY, VERY ill and nearly killed me, I spent a whole day vomiting in absolute agony and some of the nurses treat you badly because they have no sympathy for people who overdose. It will hurt, you will be incredibly sick and if you dont seek help you will die in horrendous agony. So if you're thinking of it, dont do it, it will cause you so much pain that no one deserves. I would not wish it on my worst enemy, it was that bad. Get help, dont overdose.

Paracetamol is the same thing as Tylenol Acetaminophen, don't try to use big words with me. Overdose will cause liver damage. When your liver is damaged you wont have bile in your system to get rid of the fatty junk. So you will become obese and gross.
