well I always suggest the best exercise for losing weight is the jump rope... can even form abs if done right... you should also focus on exercises that tone your body rather than build muscles... stick to relatively high repetitions but using lower weights... i dont know what your trying to achieve besides losing a little belly so i would suggest that you run 3 times a week for a minimum of 25 minutes in the treadmill... start with a relatively low speed and continuously run on the treadmill for 25 minutes... as time progresses your body will obviously become more fit and then you can move on to cardio exercises that involve intervals and circuits... look them up on the internet or ask a trainer in the gym... also dont forget to stretch and no matter what your working out always... always start with a light 5 minute cardio warmup like jogging to loosen up the muscles..

For the belly, you need to do two things:

a) Reduce the amount of fat in the belly area
b) Tone the stomach and abdomen muscles.

Here's the solutions:

a) Try running on the treadmill. It's more to do with getting your heart rate up for a long period of time rather than running fast, so pick a pace that's comfortable that you could stay at for 20-30 minutes. I find making a playlist of songs you really, really like on your iPod can really make the time fly by. A lot of running machines have 'fat burn' and 'cardio workout' settings. If you've got quite a lot of fat, go for fat burn. If (like me) it's just a little bit on the belly that needs some 'extra persuasion', cardio will help.

b) Look for an abdomen trainer in the gym. Mine has one - you sit on it, and there's a bar in front of your chest. You lean forward, pushing the bar down. Weights connected to the bar help work the muscles. Start with a weight you're comfortable with, and increase it by 2.5lbs a week (if the machine has smaller weights you can add).

Good luck, and remember - the gym can be fun. It may be tiring and painful just now, but DON'T GIVE UP. Remember, it'll be worth it in the end!

Drink lots of water that will help your stomach go down, but don't over do it. Around a gallon of water is the limit for the day. A kickboxing class will flatten your pouch. It worked for me.

Cardio is the key for women in loosing fat. Weight training will help you tone and build the muscle. Remember to do both

cardio is the best place to start. sometimes gyms have spinning classes, i would recomend that and aerobics as well as the cardio equipment.
weight machines are good for toning, but as you build muscle, you will gain a few lbs as muscle weighs more than fat.

you are a kid with so much energy
but do weight training three day and cardio two days. take two days off each week to avoid the routine.
