i have a new gateway and id like to download msn...
however it says i need to confirm i have sufficient rights to do it. ((mind u the computer is a day old)))....
and im the administrator...
ive never had this problem with another computer. help~

You must have Vista

Vista is paranoid about security and will ask you to confirm almost anything that has to do with installing new software or the internet. Nothing to worry about. Just say yes, and move on...

It could be Microsoft going through their validation thing. You don't say if there is a way to click on an ok button to confirm. Microsoft products are defaulted to be validated on first use. Uncle Bill wants to make sure you have a legal copy of windows and he isn't getting short-changed lol
