Your earring needs to stay in for a certian duration of time once it is peirced. So you would have to make sure your school would not require you to remove it. If so, an ear peircing would be best done over the summer.. Communicate with your dad..

If your school won't allow it, then it's technically impossible to get your ears pierced. It doesn't actually hurt: it just feels like someone's pinching your ear. And when the staple gun actually goes through your ear, you feel nothing. But you have to keep an earring inside the hole for the first six months, unless you want the hole to close up. So you won't be able to do that if your school doesn't allow ear piercing (unLESS your hair is long enough to cover your ears).

I wouldn't bother. It is a fad that will come and go and yet you will have the pierced ear for years to come. If you want a way of being different, perhaps you can get a tattoo instead which can be covered up when you wear a shirt and yet shown off when you want the individuality, perhaps on the arm where your sleeves can act as a curtain to show or not show the tattoo.

er, its forbidden at my school aswel, but all the boys who have it done just hide their ears. think about if u would still like it when ur 40, cos the hole never completely closes up. so you have to make sure you really want it done. and your parents would eventually be fine with it!

if you're not allowed to, why bother?
If you're worried about the pain, then don't, because it's basically painless (and I did it the old-fashioned way). But seriously, if you're not allowed to, then try to wait until your older. Earrings on young guys (under 17) make them look like posers and scumbags.. Wait until you're a bit older perhaps.
