Credit scores are used to assign risk factors to loans by lenders.
The scores and profiles tell lenders if you are responsible as far as managing your finances or not.
Scores are located in the middle of your report towards the top.
The truth is that credit profiles are much more important then scores alone but most people do not realize this because they are not informed about how credit actually works.

A credit score is so important because it lets a lender know if you are responsible enough to pay your debt on time or if you make late payments or not.
There are many companies who provide credit reports so i can not tell you exactly where the score is on everyone, but normally it is on the top or on the top right hand corner.
I hope this helps!!

Hi,
Credit score is very important to let your lenders or credit card companies to know your past credit history. It makes easier for them to decide on extending loans to you. You can get your free credit report online from http://www.capitalcounselor.com/credit.html . Good luck!

You can get your free annual credit report from each credit bureau at AnnualCreditReport.com. The reports are free but you have to pay for the score -- $6 to$8.
Other sites such as FreeCreditReport.com require you to sign up for monitoring services. And it can be a problem canceling during the 30 day free trial.

You do not find it on your credit report. To receive it, you have to pay extra money.
