I guess nothing? Because when you sneeze your heart stops for a few seconds or something.. I don't think anything happens when you cough.

I'd say "cover your mouth" but that's not polite, so you can say, "are you OK?" or "Do you need a cough drop" or "would you like to go home?" or nothing. You see, when you cough your heart stops for a fraction of a second so people say "bless you" but when you cough, I suppose it's a sign of sickness so you can say "are you OK," or "are you alright?"
I wondered about this before when I was maybe 6 or 7.

That's funny you would bring that up because I thought about that before, and I guess you would say cough you lol. We don't say anything when someone coughs because apparently when we sneeze our hearts stop or skip a beat, so we say, God Bless You.

I don't think you say anything. We say bless you when people sneeze because back in the day people used to believe that when you sneezed your spirit could leave you and an evil one would take it's place. So they say bless you so it doesn't happen.

You don't SAY anything you just move away discretely. And I think saying bless you if you're talking to stranger is pretty random. I mean, I don't know you...why do you feel the need?

I never say "bless you". It's a silly, purposeless, meaningless, idiotic, nonsensical, and superstition-based bit of stupidity.
