Let's assume for a second that God and Satan exist.

What religion causes the most problems in the world?

Anyone who wants you to believe in him(without proof, by the way) and leads you to believe that everyone else who doesn't will face eternal punishment(good and bad) has to be evil right? Gandhi is going to burn forever simply because he was raised Hindu? Where's your sense of empathy?

Let's face it. Christians have amongst the highest crime rates.

How many Buddhists, Shintoists, and Hindus do you see killing and persecuting people?

Someone who wants you to be good not just for the sake of being good but out of fear has to be evil.

And please no "I know it in my heart" stuff.

12345st- ROFL there's proof that the bible is true?
And why would dying be such a bad thing for Satan? Death on earth would be absolutely nothing to an everliving spirit.

RevJoeyKelly- Christianity has historically caused more problems than Islam. Does it matter though? Both you groups of people believe in the Abrahamic god so that doesn't exactly help your case.

Ugh! Dude. First you need to pick up and actually "read" the Bible in order to get your facts straight. Read it carefully and you will see why a lot of crap happens and why so many beliefs nowadays are so distorted.
The Bible clearly shows God and Satan as two distinct, seperate beings. As for the practice of believe in Him or you'll burn forever....this is a man made belief in order to scare people into religion, especially Catholicism. There is no such thing as a burning, torturous place called Hell.
Hell comes from an old Germanic word, "Hoelle" which means the "common grave of mankind." Other scriptures also show that "the dead know nothing at all" meaning that when one dies, they have no memories, no feelings, no concept of time. They simply do not exist. Their only hope is for the resurrection sometime in the future, where they hopefully will come back to life, in a new body, on Earth. Only a select few will go to heaven.
As for modern religions, I agree in that there is a huge amount of corruption. Many claim to be Christian, yet never practice what they preach. You can't blame Christianity for this though. Pure Christianity became corrupted after the death of the last apostle, and has been corrupted since.

The problem with your question is you want proof. The bible is our proof, there has been evidence showing the bible is true. I know Jesus isn't Satan because Satan would not die so we could live in heaven. I know I will most likely get 4 thumbs down and so on, but i don't really care because I'm not the one that's going to burn forever....

Well your premise is flawed. "Religion" can't cause problems. What causes the problems is that everyone has free will and they can do whatever they want, and claim it is in the name of "religion" or their "god". For example, most Muslims are peaceful and against killing. But you have the few bad apples that kill thousands of innocent people in the name of "Allah". They aren't really following their Allah's teachings.

People who claim to be Christians, yet kill people obviously aren't practicing what Jesus taught. No where did Jesus ever tell us to kill or harm another person. ("He who is without sin, cast the first stone." "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.") Sitting in church one day a week doesn't make me a Christian anymore than sitting in my garage would make me a car. It's my actions and my attitude that show I am a Christian.

Good question. I believe Jesus is just who he is. My beliefs don't parallel the bible though.
Christians have highest crime rate. I'm an ex law enforcement agent. That one is wrong.
The last Christian persecution ended several hundred years ago when the faith finally grew up. Look at Islam, they started out doing it and still do it.THAT is a FACT.
Everybody else burns.......I don't know about that either.

You may be mixing up Atheism with anti - Godism. God said he will smite the evil at the end of their trial term. So anyone, Christian or other who is scared may have good reason to be. I'm a Christian and fear is not a factor for me.

"What religion causes the most problems in the world?"

That would be Islam. I don't remember the Pope repeatedly threatening to bomb Israel and America. I also don't ever see news reports of Baptists rioting in every major city of Europe.

Your point?

Jesus was fully man operating in the Spirit of God. The devil is fully a dark spirit operating in the willing souls of men. Even the devil cannot over ride your will unless you let him. Jesus didn't do anything that was evil in thought or action. If you are operating in a reality that is not necessarly aligned to Truth then you can be deceived. The proof is in the pudding.
