I keep reading this nonsense about Catholics not being saved for x, y, and z reasons. But then these same people will turn around and say "But all you have to do is accept Jesus as your savior and repent and your saved!"
So if it's just that easy, and Catholics have done this by the way, what makes YOU saved and not them? Or are you falsifing the "its just that easy" part?

It doesn't matter if they ADD good works to that. There is NO rule that states you can't repent AND do good works. Or do you just want an elitist attitude to make yourself feel better?

Since when...? Well, hasn't it bee since the beginning of Christianity.
"Being saved" and "accepting Jesus as savior" are both nonsense concepts of the Christian religions.... One could accept Jesus until he was green in the face and still not be saved for or from anything at all. The true answer to this question is as I've stated it..... There has never been a time when one could be saved and accepting Jesus is still not worth a nickle.
The specifics of the question are actually unimportant in this light, but I'll add for the sake of the asker that double standards are a hallmark of Christian belief. What is clearly condemned by a group may be perfectly allowable within it. Pay it no mind and just remember the meaning of the word hypocrisy.

yes that's enough saved through Jesus Christ's blood and by accepting him. you will always find someone that will say you need to do more but Jesus knows and see how true your heart is and it's yup to you whether or not you need to give more. all Jesus ask is for we to walk in the Christan way, learn from our past and remember why is blood was shed and respect each other.

For the Catholic, salvation is attained through (and with) the Church, not through a personal relationship with a "saved" date on it. But if the Catholic side is works-oriented, then so is the Fundamentalist side. "All you have to do" is still something you do to get that salvation. I don't see any theological difference there.

YOUR.... Wrong Assumption... about .... Simply... Accepting... JESUS.... is Flawed!
YOU....never Said.... what ... Accepting JESUS...meant!
Perhaps.. YOU.... and ... Others... need to hear... what JESUS... SAID.... about Accepting... HIM ?
(John 7:38-39) He who believes on Me, as the Scripture has said, "Out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."
(John 7:39) (But He spoke this about the Spirit, which they who believed on Him should receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)
AND.....
(John 3:3-to-7) Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
(Joh 3:4) Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb and be born?
(Joh 3:5) Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
(Joh 3:6) That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
(Joh 3:7) Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again.

i think of you're drawing near salvation from the incorrect perspective, i.e. guy's potential to save himself via accepting Jesus or doing good deeds. you may evaluate which you at the instant are not to any extent further worth of heaven than your "terrible pedophile" which you have desperate could circulate to hell for his deeds. Neither of you're so unfastened from guilt which you will attain heaven on your guy or woman. "making a decision" would not exonerate the two of you. Christ's blood does that, not your determination. "All you may do" is consequently providing you with some thing to do, and that's indicative of blunders while it consists of salvation. So, right here the two certainly one of you stand, the two responsible previously the Lord, and in prefer of a Savior. enable's say God chooses the pedophile and not you. He facilitates you to be puffed up with delight as to who you're, thanking God which you're unlike that sinner over there, at a similar time as the pedophile beats his chest, tears his clothing and says God, be merciful to me, a sinner. The Holy Spirit has given him faith, and grew to become his heart around, and as we examine interior the Scriptures, the daddy has ALREADY given the pedophile to his Son for the forgiveness of his sins, and we call this predestination -- love previously the pedophile ever knew that this would ensue to him, love that existed for this man or woman via call call, the very hairs on his head numbered, previously the guidelines of the worldwide. Christ died for him, and the Lord searches his heart and of direction unearths faithfulness there because of the fact he replaced into saved via grace by way of faith in Jesus Christ, not of his very own works, lest everyone could boast. Sound known? And sure, this guy has prevented hell, yet this replaced into by way of grace, not "i will have God immediately" from the religion menu.

Catholics have not done that. Their cult teaches them to add works to it. Galatians says that's a false gospel.
Like I said yesterday, catholics are loved by atheists, pagans, and general unbelievers, because the fallen world loves its own. But Jesus said the truth is hated by the world, by atheists, pagans, etc. This is why you love the catholics.
Catholics are not saved Christians.

It's called "Exclusion" I think. You're only a Christian if I say you are. something like that.
P.S. And Galatians is the letter Paul wrote to the Galatians, not to be used for Christians to exclude other Christians from Christianity.

well, thing is they do other "stuff" on the side like, purgatory, saint worship, the euchartist, mass and other things that have their originating background(for example catholicism comes from babylonic rituals which is satanic) that don't make them the same as Christians. . .
