Not a bit.
I know my limitations as well and am always aware of the magnanimity of the Ultimate and how small I am in front of the Ultimate, the Divine, the All powerful.

Maybe I've been blinded by my transient powerlessness and unimportance. That would make me Samson. In which case, I must work toward the re-acquisition of sight, so I can avenge my people upon the Philistines.

Dearest top philosopher
I have to say "NO"
why : because I am stronger than my own power and importance... I can put them under control ALL the time and cannot let them control me or turn me into a blind man...even if my power is growing faster...sure I will be at least one step ahead.

Any power we might believe we have is either from the dark side or the light side. It is not ours, but only uses us as we allow it to. God will never over ride your free will with the power of Love. On the other hand darkness will look for cracks in the armour. It is best to stay in surrender to Truth and let Truth handle the places that need handeling. God may use you in a situation as a vessel, but it is a large mistake to believe that it is somehow you that is doing anything.

Nope I can't say that I am....Ego is a killer, but the fact that you would ask that question says quite a bit about YOU, doesn't it?
There's this opposite of humility where people use humility to feed their ego.."look at me, look at how much suffering i endure, look how pious I am,..etc." In fact if you have to tell others how humble you are you're not very humble are you?
SO that wasn't a very cool question to ask, was it?
We are all transient, just sitting here at the galactic bus stop waiting for that cosmic bus that will take us back home....but while I'm waiting I'm not going to get caught up in games about guessing who the driver is or whos going to be waiting for me when i get there...I'm just gonna wait, and I'm not going to try to hurt anybody else thats waiting either and i'm not going to try to convince anybody to get on the bus either, cuz that's their choice and there'll be another one....hope you can understand my analogy

Who said my power is transient - but then again who said I had any power at all?
Why would being important to my family blind me, or anyone for that matter?

That is a giant Venus fly trap. It is so easy to forget the deadliness of the temptation and so difficult to resist.
Causes and effects persist, the power and importance do not.

I'm realistic enough to know that the only person who can change my life is ME, and that if I don't think I'm important no one will have any respect for me. It's called self-esteem. Unfortunately some religions beat it down by telling their followers they're worthless pieces of crap and that without this god they will burn forever. Sounds like a bad ad campaign... buy this product or your house will never be REALLY clean.

I am more aware because of it. Nothing and no one is ALL important but each of us is especially important in our ability to reach those within our own circles of family and friends. The loss of us affects someone more deeply than we can know and perhaps even they won't realize how important we were until we are no longer available to them.
