Which of the frontlines is the best product for fleas?
I bought frontline combo from the vets but there are some reviews on here saying it doesnt work well. Has anyone tried all the range? What was best?

The Frontline range is: regular Frontline, spray, and combo(which is called Plus in USA).

Frontline Combo/Plus is probably the best flea treatment because it's the only one that kills flea eggs an pupae as well as adult fleas.

Occasionally I meet people who claim Frontline doesn't work. On further investigation, they've either dropped it on their animal's fur (it has to go on the skin) or they've got an infestation in their house that needs spraying.

Regular Frontline is also good, it's just that you're almost certain to have to spray your house as well because it doesn't kill flea eggs. Combo is the same thing, just with the added, egg-killing ingredient.

The spray's main use is for kittens and puppies under 8 weeks of age, since it can be used on them from 2 days of age. Or, if your animal is absolutely WRIGGLING with fleas, and you can't bear to wait the few hours that the spot-on takes - Frontline spray is almost instant death for fleas!

EDIT: Just to clarify, 'spot-on' is not the name of any one flea brand, it's the name for a method of application. Bob Martin, Hartz, Johnsons, Frontline and Stronghold are all examples of spot-on products. They're all different drugs, don't confuse them - as one person said, Bob Martin is often deadly for cats.
