No. It's not actually affecting your oveall body temperature.
Eating spicy foods can result in a surge of blood to the skin somewhere on the body that feels like heat - it's called "flushing." Like you said, it also causes sweating, which results in cooling of the skin.
Drinking a cold drink feels good when you're hot, but doesn't actually cool you down. After you drink it, digestion kicks in to process the drink, and quickly brings the cooled areas back up to body temperature.
So go ahead and eat hot food, drink cold water, it won't hurt you a bit.

Assuming your diet is healthy (nutritionally balanced), and you don't over-drink Coke, you should be fine. Perhaps the biggest risk would be exposing your teeth to very hot temperatures, then suddenly cold temperatures, which might cause a crack or chip (molars are susceptible to chipping and cracking). But otherwise, don't worry about it. If you are referring to spicy food, should not be a problem. Hot tea or (for some people) milk can abate the spiciness.

my science/biology teacher said it's not!cause when we consume hot foods, the body will become hot and it will make our body sweat.then drinking cold water will cool the body up thus making the sweating stops.this results body odor and that sticky feeling.if you drink hot water, the sweat will evaporate form the body cause it's getting hotter until it stops sweating naturally.

not sure, but when ever i feel somethings off like that with my body, i would just be safe and mention this to your doctor, it could be a hormone imbalance or something, or it could just be your body's choice, just be safe check it out it sounds like you would like some peace of mind about this, good luck
