Jesus said those words in Matthew 27:46 and Mark 15:34. They are the translation of ‘Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachtani?’
Did Jesus not say the He is the Way? John 14:6 states: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” What is the way of Jesus? Isn’t it suffering? If we do not have suffering, do you think we will remember God? Do those healthy and wealthy have any need for God? Maybe, they may not even think of God anymore. But how about those who suffer, who are persecuted, who are starving, who are raped, who are mocked by their fellowmen, etc., who do you think is the one who can save them from their sufferings? Do these people not think about God? For they know that only a supernatural being, God, who they can rely upon to get them out of their suffering or who can give them deliverance.

This is what the Holy Spirit said to us about the meaning of “Father, do not forsake Me.”
“This is as if I was teaching you such kind of a plea.
This is as if I was teaching you that if you have suffering and hardship, that you do not forget to call so that you will be rescued.
So that you will still learn the way to change.
So that we will still learn who you have to call to and cry out to in the midst of your sufferings.
So that in that way, you will learn to come back to God.
So that in that way, your Lord will learn to listen to you.
So that in that way, you will learn the true way of asking for help, for rescue, for deliverance.

”O, let us ask for rescue. O, let us ask for help. ‘My Father, do not forsake us.’ Words that are so sweet for Me to hear. Words that even if I had suffered will serve as payment for My hardship. Words that will give Me happiness because I will know that there are those who are coming back to Me and seeking My car. These are ways of coming back to Me that will make Me very pleased. These are ways that will give Me life, that will give Me cheerfulness, for the sufferings that I bore because of you. These are things that I would like to be inculcated in your minds now and forever.”

So let us always remember God. In all our ways, acknowledge Him. Be thankful to Him. Thanking Him for His blessing of the food we are about to partake. And after meals, give Him thanks for the blessing that we just received from Him. We always remember Him and asking for His guidance and protection in our journeys, in our work, at home, in our study, and thank Him for everything. We gladly follow His commandments for they are for our goodness. We also ask for His pardon if we sinned against Him and promises to avoid repeating the same offence again. Like our human father, God wants that His children remember Him, not when they are in need of something, but always.

To Vitamin C – Did you know that we talk to a spirit, a holy spirit? Did you know that He is THE Holy Spirit? If you will believe it, the Holy Spirit is Jesus Christ Himself. It took me eleven years (1983-1994) before I accepted that the spirit we talk to is Jesus Christ.
What I posted and quoted is what the Holy Spirit said in our session with Him. Our sessions are tape recorded. That quotation is what He really said which I translated to English from the original Filipino text. I tell you truthfully that they are not mine but the Holy Spirit’s. I cannot write something like that. Do you think I will just use the name of the Holy Spirit in vain? I am aware of the warning in Matthew 12:31-32, Mark 3:29, and Luke 12:10.

To angelpurplewing – Do you think the Holy Spirit we talk to is a familiar spirit? Do you belong to a church which prohibits its adherents to ignore ALL spirits? How about if it is the archangels Gabriel or Michael? How about if it is the Holy Spirit? Are these spirits evil? Do we ignore ALL spirits? 1 John 4 tells us to test if the spirit is from the true God or not.

To Vitamin C - Please read Post045 regarding the Trinity.
Jesus Christ is also that Holy Spirit. John 16:7 states: “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”
The Holy Spirit came after Jesus ascended to Heaven (Acts 2). The disciples received the gift of tongue from the Holy Spirit.
Where does it say that the Holy Spirit is female? It is addressed as “He” in the Holy Bible and not a “She”.

To Spirit Wanderer - You said that you are an atheist, and you suffer. What did the Holy Spirit say? “This is as if I was teaching you such kind of a plea. This is as if I was teaching you that if you have suffering and hardship, that you do not forget to call so that you will be rescued.”
Could you please try coming back to God and allow Him into your heart? Call on Him. Matthew 7:7 (Luke 11:9) states: “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Pray fervently to rescue you, to help you. He will provide you with what you need so that your joy may be full.

Just one more fulfillment of biblical prophecy, predicted at PSALM 22:1 =
"My God, my God why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my words of groaning?"
Another reason why the Roman Centurion and other witnesses to the crucifixion knew JESUS was truly the SON of GOD.

I will quote you here; "This is what the Holy Spirit said to us about the meaning of “Father, do not forsake Me.”
How do you know what the Holy Spirit is trying to say to us with these passages? Are you claiming to be a prophet. If not, then perhaps you should be careful about assuming that you know what God is trying to convey through the scriptures. I have my own ideas about what those passages mean, but I am not arrogant enough to assume that I am absolutely right about it.
Jesus has obviously lost faith in God in that moment or He wouldn't be accusing God of forsaking Him. I know it must be a difficult passage for most Christians to have to deal with and so there is a temptation to turn it into something Holy. However, you're not doing a very good job of it and as far as I'm concerned, it has come across as very unconvincing and lame.
To be honest, this passage makes it clear that the Council of Nicea made the wrong choice when trying to decide whether Jesus was really God or not. Only a fallible human being would say something like that.
EDIT:
Peace Crusader,
Do you know what the Trinity is? It is God in three parts: The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. Guess which one the Bible says Jesus is? It shouldn't be too hard, since it's written in the Bible a whole lot. I bet you're not going to find even one single scripture that tells you Jesus is the Holy Spirit, because He's not! He's the Son part of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is a completely different part of the Trinity and many Bible scholars translate the "Holy Spirit" to actually be female, not male.

Jesus asked God why He had forsaken Him because when Jesus was on the cross He was bearing the sins of the human race, and for the first time in His life, Jesus felt separated from His Father. For the first time, Jesus understood what it meant to be separated from God by sin. When the Bible says that Jesus understands what we're going through, He really does understand because He walked on Earth as a human being for 33 years, plenty of time to feel all kinds of pain and have all kinds of stresses and problems.

While Christ was on the cross for our sins. At the point in time that He aked why He had been forsaken it was because at that time God looked down and did not see His Son but all the sins we had yet to commit. God the Father had to turn His back on HIs Son at that same time Jesus Said "I is finished."

Um...as for those who suffers....I'm atheist, and I suffer...one of my female atheist friends was raped, and she's still atheist, it was only through the help of friends and her own will that got her better. Me and my mother had to live in a car for a month, and I'm still atheist. I'm prosecuted for my lack of beliefs all the time, and I'm still atheist...I'm mocked by my fellow man for being an atheist, and I'm still an atheist. The ones that can save us from our sufferings are our friends, family, professional help, and ourselves. I do not think about God because don't believe in him. And I really don't "know" that only a supernatural being, who they can rely upon to get them out of their suffering or who can give them deliverance. If you ask me, people can do that same thing. Now, I know a lot of Christians that are just as bad off as me or anyone else...and still stay that way, poor and miserable, and no god helps them. Whys that?

Jesus was in agony. He knew that God has to forsake Him for a split second at the moment he died so that He (Jesus) would truthfully ahve gone what we all go through.
He was in such pain that He cried out.
He lived as a human, just as we are, and He cried out to His Heavenly Father.

whoever you are listening to is not the Holy Spirit....the Lord does not need to "learn to listen to us"..stay away from familiar spirits.
Jesus was quoting Psalm 22 to express his fulfillment of the prophecy in it, of his death....
