He died when i was 3? I am now 17. I was wondering for how long i will get survivor benefits. (i live with my grandparents now he never married my mom she gets no benefits)

They expire at 18 unless you are full time student to 21

Call Social Security and ask, or go to the web site. It used to be that you got benefits until you were 18 unless you went to college and then as long as you were full time in school.

I think you get the benefits until you are 18.

until your 18 unless your still in school. once ur 18 and done with school it will end
