* Is he gonna stop talking to his close female friends for you?
* Did u set any bad example which made him not trust your relationship with your guy friends? Or does he have a good reason to say that?
Some girls say "we always look for someone better in our life". They make friendship with guys and start sharing the problems it the current relationship. Thus they try to get some care from their friends. If any friend shows enough care then they go for that friend and start a new relationship.
If this is the motive of your having friendship with other guys then you already know why your boyfriend said that.
If you are honest with yourself as well as with him and know what you want from your friends then you should not care about what he says. We should be guided by our conscience , not only emotions. :)

Obviously your bf is jealous of your relationship with the other guy friends. Are they really friends? Do you have some secret little crush on any of them? If your free and clear on this, then all of them better be a heck of a lot uglier than your bf, otherwise he'll just keep getting pissed at you. The choice is yours. Maybe the others friendship is more important. What do you think?

I have a lot of guy friends and some are ex's. If your guy friends are respectful of your BF and treat him like he is one of their friends then I don't see what your BF's problem is. Guy friends under these circumstances can be his best ally and not the enemy. Your guy friends can be like your coach as long as they are willing to accept that they don't play in your field. If he isn't willing to be social and try to get to know these guys, then he is insecure and maybe not the guy for you. Prized women are surrounded by guys. If your BF is a good catch he will try get in good with your friends first so that your guy friends feel that your BF can be trusted to treat you right. Good guy pals are like the protective big brothers and are looking out for your best interests. They drive away the preditors and attract the protectors.

the first thought is that he is a jealous person but dont conclude from that find out from him why he said that. it might be that the people u call close friends are not good enough for u.

you need to have a heart to heart with him.... these could be tell tell signs of him wanting to control your life and everything in it... they are YOUR friends and as long as you are not doing anything inapprop then stand up and keep them as your friends...dont sell out
