Sorry but there is no cure. You can always as already suggested; drink, have lottsa sex, take as much alcohol and drugs as possible. but all that will do is make you forget about it or it will make it worse. (aka: alcohol is a depressant so it brings u down - magnifies everything.)
You can actually die from a broken heart, when the grief becomes so unbearable that your body begins to shut down - this usually happens because the mind convinces the body it cannot function.
Move on is the best option - forget him, you are a whole person by yourself and do not need someone else to make you feel fulfilled. Move on, you become a better person because of it.

Time heals all wounds. If, this was a long term relationship it will take more time. You are not alone, if that gives you any comfort, I am going through the same thing. The best way, I have found in these times, is to keep busy in what you are doing - work ,study, concentrate on bettering yourself- exercise - do not dwell on would have - should have and just let go of the down thoughts and think positive that you are worthy of love

Deciding you control your life and noone can hurt you unless you let them. Move on and love cures the pain of hurts. Broken hearts do mend and become healthy again

4 things that worked for me:
1. Chocolate
2. Time spent with the friends you probably didn't have time for when your heart was smiling.
3. Time alone doing the things you put aside for the one who broke your heart.
4. Time with God learning to love again.

I'm sorry for your loss.
