This is a bit embarassing but I've searched the web and can't find any help with it.

I've noticed that I have these clusters of really tiny flesh-coloured bumps, some look a bit irritated too, on both sides of my labia majora. They are a little larger closer to my vaginal opening, and seem to be in bunches that protrude out.

I am 23, in good general health, and I have only been sexually active with one person (who I am in a long-term relationship) and he was tested for sti's 3 weeks ago and all came back negative, so this is unlikely to be warts or herpes.

Does anybody know what these little bumps could be? Are they normal or could they be some sort of reaction to something?? I'll make an appointment to see my doctor next week, but I'm really worried!

I would really appreciate serious answers, thanks.

Oh yeah, I meant to say that I don't shave down there.

They are NOT painful or itchy. Some just look a little red.

I've looked a pics of genital warts and herpes and this doesn't look anything like that. The bumps are much, much smaller (like, smaller than a goosebump), just all together. Thanks for the answers so far tho!! :)

Its probably nothing to worry about but go and see you doc anyway. They could just be sebaceous glands sometimes called Fordyce spots. These are tiny creamy coloured or yellow coloured spots lying within the skin. They usually occur in little groups and each spot is smaller than a pin-head. They are entirely normal but are more obvious in some people. They are found in the sensitive moist skin underneath the foreskin in men and in women the labia.

Here is a link with picture to get an idea of what they look like.

This sounds like 1 of 2 things. It could be irritation from shaving, if you do shave. But, honestly, that sounds like herpes. Your boyfriend testing negative is not a guarantee that you don't have it.

Go to your GYN and get tested.

OMG i completely sense you!! And it is not that we r gross looking, even nevertheless it makes u sense a touch much less girly? (nicely, it does me). ok, heres what i do...i'm getting my eyebrows waxed and that i attempted to get my top lip waxed professionally carried out as quickly as, yet i chickened out. So, i went to Wal-MArt and have been given a house waxing equipment and took care of it that way. IT HURTS even nevertheless it is plenty extra clever than shaving!! by no potential shave any haor off your face. It grows back with extra stuble and fuller, and no that's not a delusion. luckily, I didnt could learn that the confusing way, certainly one of my acquaintances did and that i found out from her journey. while you're transforming into to be purely some hairs on ur chin, pluck em. ANd if plucking isn't ur cup of tea, then i might attempt a bleaching equipment. Nair grants a non-risky bleaching equipment attainable in any respect supermarkets. yet, please be careful in something which you do for the 1st time seeign as you will not comprehend how your pores and skin wil react. And, yet another advice...in case you sense too emberassed to circulate to a great industry to seek for any of those issues, then i advise you touch your close by Mary Kay or Avon woman and ask them what they advise. they'd even have samples. don't be emberassed!

I think they are prob just normal raised bumps - everybody is a bit different down there and some people have lumps and bumps more than others - if they dont itch or sore wouldnt think its serious...

It could also be cysts or even ingrown hairs which can look a lot like pimples. Pimples can occur because of the oil in the glands around there that help keep that area moist.

It does sound like it could be an STD. I am wondering why if you are in a long term committed relationship your boyfriend needed to be tested for STDs? Some times those tests have false negatives you should stop having sex and get to your doctor.

if they are bit like goosebumps this is normal its like hairs just haven't grown there and sometimes you would think they are more raised than other times ,
