I have a soccer game today(American) and I'm good but i always make the mental mistakes like pressure from our coach who is the worst. He always yells on the field complains because the ref made a bad call.

Like I would trip people and lose possesion and i would kick it straight up the again and the coah would yell at me and say kick it the other way which he always says.

How can i stop making mental mistakes?

You need to learn to concentrate. Focus is gold when it comes to just about any sport.

When you're on the field, you should block out just about everything besides what concerns you as a player. Even the coach should be ignored to some degree when your actually on the field at play. You can't let his screaming affect you. Especially if its just nonsense.

Focus is something achieved through discipline. Young people have the toughest time disciplining themselves. But thats what make things like the military and martial arts good for a young adult.

Watch as many games as you can and picture yourself performing the very same moves as you see on TV. Coaches yell sometimes to get players to work harder on the field, since many players play stronger when they are mad. Let the game come to you and always be aware of your surrounding players before you receive the ball. Once you do get it, try to be creative with it or make the intelligent pass into a space for your teammate to run on to and possibly score. That will really impress your coach, but play to have fun.

b-12 methylcobalamin is great for mental gymnastics

and on a soccer field - you are thinking a mile a minute!

all the best

ps and you need to eat carbs to fuel your brain - your muscles can make energy out of fat - but NOT the grey matter

take care of it - and stay hydrated - just a 2% drop can
cause your brain to lose focus

more practice. work hard. and relax.

confidence in your game will help you relax. its best to play when you have less worries. less worries mean you don't think that you might lack practice or you didn't work at this part of your game. and try to leave all your personal worries outside or at home. all of your focus should be in the game only.

confidence = less mistakes.
