I hope it does not sounds like "my girl" or something else.I'm spanish. I only can read english and understand it, but I never was in England and never speak english. I will live there forever and my baby will born there soon, so I don't know what's better for him "Michael" or "Miguel". His surname don't sounds like typical spanish, it sounds rather like Ball or Bass. What do you mean? (Sorry for grammar mistakes).

Miguel is perfectly fine in English. It's actually fairly common here, so don't worry.

Michael or Miguel are both acceptable but the better choice would be Michael since he will be growing up in an English speaking country.

Why not keep him aware of the spanish heritage by referring to him at home as Miguel. When he is older he can make the determination to choose which he would like to be called.

In this day and age Miguel is a good name. It is good to encourage a hint of the childs historical bloodlines, especially if his surname does not sound Spanish.

If you are Spanish and like the name Miguel then call him this don't anglicise it because you don't think English people won't know how to pronounce it (a lot of English people have been to Spain).

Miguel is more interesting than Micheal and Spannish.
There is a kids show on tv called Maya and Miguel!
It does sound a bit like "my girl" but more like "me gel" / "mi gel"
Also there are loads of Micheals which is a bit common and boring (no offence to any Micheals out there) and gets shortened to Mike and I don't like that.
I think Miguel but it's up to you!

Choose Miguel. It is a part of your heritage. There are plenty of Michaels in the world.

My favorite from the list is Lily. However, that name along with the name Bella are very popular right now. Asuna is certainly unique and interesting but I'm not sure about the sound. Maria is classic.

Name your child whatever you like. English people have heard the name "Miguel" before and they will again.
