Forget it, won't work.

Laptop BIOS passwords are stored in non-volatile memory that will not lose its contents when power is switched off.

Besides, I'm not willing to help you sell a stolen laptop.

The guts of the machine are usually under the keyboard. If you are okay with opening up the laptop, you'll need to remove a few screws, the battery and the hard drive, then carefully pry up the keyboard to gain access to the items that the manufacturers say you shouldn't tamper with. If its just a matter of getting into the bios and theres a password, you can usually simply remove the battery and leave it without power for at least 24hours, then it should reset....doesn't always work but since most laptops actually do not have a standard cmos battery, this would be one way to go about it. Of course you could just try to figure out what the password is, someone has to have put it in there so they should know what it is, or you could go to http://tcc.toughbook.com/ and get the bios update, which will reset it completely.

it is most likely the battery. don't forget it could also be the charging circuit also (less than 5% probability). find a nre battery online

Product information for the motherboard in your computer.
You would be better off to use the CMOS reset jumpers to clear the BIOS.
And if it's stolen then get it back to the people who own it. It's jerks taking everyone else's stuff because they don't want to save money to buy their own that cause problems for the entire world.
