I had the same problem. Turned out it was just on a dimmer switch. I'd check the light with another socket. If not - then it's an incompatibility somewhere in the circuit.

It each so often takes place, even though it is not meant to. All fluorescent lamps - tubes and "capability effective" bulbs - need some thousand volts to show them on and a plenty decrease voltage to maintain them going. This comes from somewhat electronics that comes one after the other in a tube installation yet is geared up into an capability effective bulb. Yours has a leaky capacitor which skill it takes longer to return on and would not fairly turn off for a couple of minutes. do no longer hassle approximately it - it's going to positioned on out in approximately 5 years' time.

The gases in the tube may be poorly installed. Check out a different brand and if they do the same then it is possible a double fed circuit or a circuit that is sharing a neutral from another circuit is causing an imbalance in the circuit.

Induced voltage in the wires supplying the bulb.
Most commonly seen on 2-way circuits.
perfectly 'normal'

Not at all dangerous. It's simply a gentle reminder, that the brain of a bio-evolutionist isn't fully developed.
