Red Dwarf was pure class. I thought Queeg was fun - the rise of the Anti-Holly ;o) Bodywap was a courageous one at the time - almost an entire episode where Rimmer and Lister were acting as each other. I really enjoyed Timeslides too - changing history through living photographs. White Hole was interesting, and brought the triumphant return of the Talkie Toaster.
Of them all though, I think probably my favourite for its insularity and character development was Marooned - Rimmer and Lister alone together following a crash on an icy moon. They share secrets, fears, and the experience of eating dog food. There's potential for growth of a new close friendship, but Lister blows it by ruining BOTH of Rimmer's prize possessions. Truly impressive writing, and stand-out performances from both of the alpha-leads.

Oh, also I'm hoping to get a t-shirt design ready for the Red Dwarf Bring Back Campaign ... It still in development at the moment.
The Bodysnatcher Collection will be delayed from its original (and quite early) release date by three weeks. The four-disc set will now arrive in stores on November 12th and Just the Smegs will also be nudged back, appearing a week after Bodysnatcher on November 19th to accommodate a delay in getting the never-before-released-on-DVD content classified for release. Go out and buy them when released.

Can't remember the title, but the one where they are put in quarantine (Quarantine perhaps!) Just funny and clever and stupid at the same time.
This was the peak period in Red Dwarf for me. The last series was tragic and embarrassing to watch, the beginning puerile and clunky (still heading in the right direction), but the middle period, with it's surreal ideas and imagery (the luck virus) got it spot on.
Hard to beat Dwayne Dibley though.

I love 'Backwards', the first episode from Season 2. Kryten and Rimmer as a cabaret act were awesome!
And 'Gunmen Of The Apocalypse' from seaon 6 is just pure genius!
Rimmer: [entering a Western bar with Lister and the Cat] I've seen Westerns. I know how to speak cowboy.
[Rimmer walks up to the bar to order a drink]
Dry white wine and Perrier, please.

Backwards.... ' Nodnol its scandanavian' so many little visual jokes, Cat nicking the charity money.
Also Marroned where lister cuts the guitar shape from Rimmers Camfer wood chest, and the way the books remind him of food.
and the classic ' I hate pot noodle ' and ' I know why dogs lick their testicles'
Also Rimmerworld if only for the Munchkin song.
It got **** after series 3/4

I don't know the name of the episode, and it's been quite awhile since I've seen it, but...it's the one where they "meet" an alien. Each character sees it as something different, perhaps what/who they most want? If I remember correctly, Cat sees Cat, of course, lol. I would love to see it again.
