T-Shirt yes, is weird, they dont take to water, very well, become heavy, fill with air bubbles.

Now what is not weird, is to wear a singlet or swim top made out of polyester or spandex, lycra, these are materials which are like your swimming tog material, which are quick drying, light weight, will help keep you warm, will fit to the body, absorb water, and protect you from the sun. I live in New Zealand were the hole in the ozone layer is, helps you stop getting burnt.

There is nothing wrong with that, just not cotton or big bulky clothing, singlets, and swim west best, Polyester best, it is all the benefits of spandex, lycra but not as revealing

I used to lifeguard at a pool, and I know some people did it, and it wasn't too big of a deal. It was usually adults who were uncomfortable with their bodies.
When I was on swim team, and we were getting ready for a big meet, we would practice in a t-shirt and old jeans which was great for adding drag. It just depends why you want to wear a shirt

It is extremely odd. You see a swimming pool is a place where you swim and you can't swim with a t-shirt on. T-shirts add drag, so when you're moving in the pook it's going to feel very weird and funny so wear a swimming trunk or something. So I suggest not wearing a T-shirt into the pool, because I often say people who do that are stupid. No offence! Anyway DONT wear a t-shirt when you go into the pool.

Not really. Fair-skinned people sometimes do this to keep the sun off. People who chill easily wear t-shirts for a little added warmth when they're standing with their shoulders out of the water.

Looks odd, but they usually have their reasons.
