As a US Veteran I say mockery. Those movies were ment to honor war heroes.
When some of your friends go off to war lets see you laugh at an attempt someone else has made to honor their lives.

God Bless

War is dramatic, heart breaking, sad, painful, frightening and out right murder. It is never ever a comedy and never will be except in the eyes of very sick people. You have obviously never been to a military funeral.

Well they've made war comedy sitcoms for example like Allo, Allo and Hogan's Heroes and they aren't offensive.
As long as they aren't over-the-top offensive parodies then it should be fine.

Well for me it might be too touchy...my brother in law died in this war and as much as I hate it, don't agree with it, find it appalling, he's never coming back. So for me, I don't think I would want to see anything like that be made.
