you won't know. it takes almost 1 week or half a month before confirming the real score. i had 2 experiences of 2 negative result of preg. test after taking it few days from being delayed. at the end of the month i found out it turns out to be POSITIVE...

I don't think you could. It is usually when you are five weeks pregnant that you know for certain and thats still very early. Some people don't find out until they are weeks and weeks gone.

aside from the other answers, use your gut, I knew I was pregnant 5 days after..it was the first time I tried...and I knew in my heart I was...
Their are early preg. test..one is called First Resonse EARLy ...it can detect 5 days after first day of missed period...
Remeber these are based on a few days after first missed period..not after sex...that is a bit of a blind coin toss..!
If you do take a test remember to use first urine of morning...also blood test from docs..can be given after about 30 days..(for safer results)

These days the pregnancy tests available at pharmacies are usually accurate as of your first missed period.
If you are asking because you want the "day after pill" you have to take it the day after sex. That's why it is called the "day after" pill.

That must be some early pregnancy test,
I cannot believe that it could be that actuate that early.
I never heard of anyone being able to tell for sure that early.
I think some one may be rattling your chain.
