Do i still have to change my water if i have a subtank that has sponges, rocks and dead corals as my filter?? I also use a protein skimmer??
Is my filter system good enough?

Does having a chiller in tropical country required for saltwater setup??
Do i need to follow the 10% weekly change or 20% in 2 weeks??

Also can i use tap water from my faucet?? They say that you can use it after 1 - 2 days after you have put the salt solutions the chlorine content are evaporated???

It's always recommended to do 25% partial waterchanges weekly on any tank doesn't matter if it's a saltwater or freshwater tank

Yes you can use your tapwater, but you will need to condition it before you put your salt into it, just with letting it stand for 1-2 days doesn't take out the cloramine in your water, you still need to use conditioner on it

Your filter system sounds great though

The chiller is needed if your temperatures get to high, but not neccessary if you can keep the temperatures around 76-82 degrees at all times, even in the summertime

Hope that helps
Good luck

Hi, there is absolutly no need to do a weekly water change in a tank that has a filter. Enless they are very messy fish, like goldfish, then you should only change 10 - 20% of the water no more than twice a month. Doing more frequent water changes will mean that the good bacteria in the water will be lost and the "cycling" process wont work as well.

Also, tap water is fine but you might want to have the water tested before you use it just to check the Ph.

If you dont want to use aged tapwater then you could either use cheap bottled water or buy some chlorine remover to add to your water before it goes in the tank

You should always do a water change sometimes no matter what your tank setup is, however, in my opinion it is far worse to change the water too often than not enough. 8 - 10 times a year is probably best as you will remove enough fish waste without bothering the bacteria too much. Just makes sure you clean your filter out whenever it needs doing,

If you ever get high ammonia, nitrite or nitrate most people will suggest a water change. Instead of doing this, try buying some "cycle" made by Hagen. Its natural and impossible to overdose on it, and much better than artificial alternatives such as amquel.
