the earth's not flat. it's a sphere. we dont fall coz of gravity.
Gravitation is responsible for keeping the Earth and the other planets in their orbits around the Sun; for keeping the Moon in its orbit around the Earth; for the formation of tides; for convection (by which hot fluids rise); for heating the interiors of forming stars and planets to very high temperatures; and for various other phenomena that we observe. Gravitation is also the reason for the very existence of the Earth, the Sun, and most macroscopic objects in the universe; without it, matter would not have coalesced into these large masses and life, as we know it, would not exist.
thats a whole lot for u to read on gravity and make ur brain a little less flatter. btw, all the best with ur FEC

You are joking of course. Any photos from the space station clearly shows the earth as a curve on the orizon throughout any revolution of the space station.
As for slipping of a sphere - have you ever heard of gravity?
If the earth is flat - how then to you account for the daily passage of sun and stars and the annual change in suns position.
You want to think a little before proposing something so far fetched as to be ridiculous and demonstratably false.

The Earth isn't flat... and It isn't a sphere. The Earth is more like an oval. its an oblate spheroid which is a sphere somewhat flattened at the poles.

Your theory falls flat because things on the top of the World would not slip and fall, mainly the polar bears and eskimos.

No earth is not flat but round. we don't slip because it has very large diameter and we are like very very tiny object on the surface of the earth. and we capture only a few inches of earth to stand and very few meters to look around.

The earth is flat. There are many sites- dedicated to this thoery- that support this assertion. To tell you the truth, anything written in textbooks that support the notion of gravity in reality is false. I won't bother proving it to you, but I just want to reassure you that there are a vast amount of people out there who think its flat.
I indeed think it's flat.

And just to inform you, it's not just a sphere, the North Pole is slightly larger than the South Pole.
