The average life expectancy of the world is 67.2 (Wikipedia)
That is 24545 days (about)
The world population was 6,602,224,175 in July 2007 per cia web site
Therefore 268984 people have to die every day to keep the population steady. Since the population is growing either more are being born or fewer are dying or both.
