....Brady Quinn becomes the starter?

Well from the looks of it Derek Anderson is playing well, well enough to be picked on fantasy teams. Just imagine that they can beat the Patriots this weekend, and do it in Fox Boro.

I predict the upset of the week right here. The Browns over the Patriots. Cleveland can rack up the points, and do not look at week one. There defense is going to shut down Randy Moss, and the Browns will beat them.

Lets hear the Patriots fans whine and cry about this one.

Well, if they were to lose big tomorrow and lose against Miami next weekend, Quinn would be in after the bye. I believe the NE game will be fairly close and they will beat Miami though, so that's not likely.

The only other way Quinn will become the starter (barring injury) this season is if the Browns go on a long losing streak, or are out of the playoff race 12 games or so into the season. They're just not going to put him in while they're winning.

Quinn WILL be starting next season unless the Browns end up 12-4 or something ridiculous like that. If you've watched the games, you'd see that Anderson is actually pretty mediocre, and the great playmakers around him are really propping him up. The o-line is playing awesome, Edwards and Winslow are making highlight reel catches, and Lewis is running strong. I think the coaches know Quinn is the best QB on the roster, but at this point they either are not comfortable that he can run the offense, or they just do not want to rock the boat.

Anyway, I would not be upset if he did not start this season, because that means the Browns are in the playoff race. But I look forward to the future, with Brady Quinn running the show.

The Browns are 2-2 the loss to Oakland was just by 2 points.
Watch the Browns do great without Brady Quinn. Why?... cause the QB now is trying to be impressive so he wont lose his job and get cut from NFL totally. Even without playing B Quinn has started a change at Cleveland. watch out

Browns win 9 games??? I know they are playing better but I don't know about all that they will more likely be something like 7-9, and if the franchise has a clue they wouldn't start Quinn all season so he'll probably be starting around week 8 or so.

Sorry my friend, but the Browns are going to win 9 games and make the playoffs. After Crennel gets his extension, you'll be stuck with him and Anderson for a while.

Well since they are winning right now I dont know. If Crennel is smart he will let Quinn sit and keep Anderson in there.

I hope as a Cowboys fan that the Browns finish last and B Quinn starts next year with Marty Shotty as their head coach.. or Coward.
But the QB isn't that bad is he?

quinn won't get a start this year. he'll get some playing time towards week 9-10 or so, but anderson has been playing pretty well for them ever since they got rid of frye.
