I'm getting a short-short-short-long blinking sequence on my brake warning light indicator. Is that a code and if so what does it mean? Does it mean there is danger in driving it?

hit the brake and see if the ight would stay on or blink more fatser . first check ur fluids too.
now also i'll suggest it's the hub bearing since it's a 1990 the bearing might be bad and they have a sencor , that would trigger the abs light to go on if the hub are bad..
don't forget my check and place ur comments hahah

I would check the brake fluid level and make sure that your brake pads and shoes aren't too worn down.

obd1, what the code is or means i dont know, but low fluid will be signified by the brake lamp staying lit. take it to a shop, save yourself the headache.

Could mean you have low brake fluid, air in your brake lines, or your brakes are getting really low.
