I realize what I am about to say will probably get a whole lot of thumbs down but it's my two cents on the answer. You don't have to agree.
The only thing that I could think of that could possibly truly last forever is God, that is if you believe in a God.
If you don't then, I guess nothing lasts forever. Everything has its time. That's how the world works. Love, Life, etc...they all have to come to an end someday.
