My son has had a red mark between his eyes since he was born. He is now 3 months old. It almost looks like blood vessels. Sometimes it gets alot darker. Its very small, not big at all. I read alittle about it and it and now I'm just curious!!! If it is, dont they fade over time? Thanks much!!

The angel kisses will fade with time... without a doubt. My daughter had what we call stork bites on the back of her neck and when she would get mad or cry they would get very dark. She is now 9 months old and I actually forgot about them until now cuz their no longer visible. At your sons next doc. visit you can mention them but I guarantee they will fade.

My son is 3 months old too and also has a "stork bite" between his eyes. it turns bright red when he's screaming, crying, or trying to poop. My doctor said it should fade in a couple of years and isn't anything to be concerned about. Good luck and congratulations!

Sounds like a stork mark. it is a very common birthmark. They fade by the time your child is about 2 yo. Often there is a corresponding one on the nape of the neck. They are insignificant & require no treatment.

It's also called a stork bite.

It should fade over time, but if it persists after the age of three you can have it removed. Sometimes it's darker because when the baby is crying, or when the temp changes.

My son has one on his leg. He is 3.5 yrs old, its still there, but faded a lot. From the way its been from then and now, I'm certain it will be invisable by the time he is 5.

these are commanly called strawberry marks as well as angel kisses. It might not go away completely, but they do fade with age. My sister was born with a deep red one on her back, and since she's gotten older (she is now ten) it has shrank in size and lightened to a pinkish color.

It depends. If it is a natural birth mark, it will not fade. But if it is an abnormality, ask the doctor's opinion.
