Psychics know all the numbers right? So why don't you ever hear of them winning the lottery?

Because physics can not pick what they see ,nor can they do anything for personal gain...just because a lot of fakes are out there doesn't mean they all are...

I believe in psychic but I don't think that their abilities are to see everything. Just because someone is pychic doesn't mean that they know everything that's going to happen. The gift they have is supposed to help. Not to make people rich. Their psychic abilities are limited. Most psychics use tarot cards to along with their psychic abilites to see a more clear picture. While others just pin point things head on. And, just so you know there a lot of honest psychics that don't claim they can make you win the lottery and so on. If one does say this then you know their a fake!!! Great question though!

Well the short answer is that if a psychic had the ability to pick all the numbers in lotteries they wouldn't need to advertise the fact. They'd just quietly win money as and when they wished and shut up about it... (And please note that very few "psychic" people have their own websites and/or tv shows or write books, etc. They're just normal people who most often never make a penny out of whatever they do.)
However, there is a longer answer too...Much longer, so please bear with me, ok? :))

No, not right. I'm sorry, but although I follow what you are getting at, it is a vast over-generalization. That's like saying a linguist knows every language on earth, or a lawyer knows every precedent in law, or a medical doctor knows every detail of every disease that has ever afflicted humanity, or a physicist knows the answer to every question of any aspect of physics... You get my drift... ;)
The simple fact is that even if a person who claims to be psychic is genuine, no one person can know everything or even focus on one aspect of our corner of the universe and always get the right answers 100% of the time...
The moment I see a psychic claiming that s/he is "always right", they have lost all credibility in my eyes. Nobody but nobody is perfect at anything and I wouldn't give them a bent penny to do a reading for me.
On the other hand, in my belief most people have some "psychic" abilities but very few are either aware of them or do anything to advance or improve what they have. Most people have had the experience, for example, of suddenly thinking of a person they haven't seen or spoken to for ages, then minutes later the phone rings and it's that person, or they think of a certain song that they've not heard in quite a while and then it's on the radio...Things like that. Some would argue this is purely coincidence, and if it only happens once or twice then that's a fair and reasonable assessment. But if such things happen far more frequently then it suggests evidence of something else.
However, that's just one form of ability. Some can "see" objects, places or people from a distance and describe them in detail, under circumstances where they could not possibly have that information prior to the fact. This is called "remote viewing". The US government (via the DIA/CIA) had a program called project star gate that ran for several years and which studied this phenomenon. The conclusions (from experiments under controlled double-blind laboratory conditions) were that this ability exists but it is quite rare, and the mechanisms by which it functions are unknown but do not require any particular religious belief... Of course, the govt study was looking for possible military/spying benefits of remote viewing, but they concluded that the results achieved were not consistent enough to warrant a permanent program devoted to it. Not that there were no positive results, please note -- just that for their specific purposes they were not consistent enough.
Some 80,000 pages or so of the star gate documents have now been declassified and released under freedom of information legislation. That's about 5% of the total documentation for this project... This gives you some idea of how seriously this question of psychic ability has been considered...
Anyone who thinks I'm making this up, just do a web search for "star gate" linked to the words "remote viewing" and you'll find quite a few hits...20,000 or so anyway...
If you want info about a site where you can try "double-blind protocol" remote viewing yourself (and also see the results of others that have been posted in the site's public galleries -- some are jaw-dropping) then let me know by email and I'll pass it on. Maybe the psychics only got a general feel or "deja vu" and cannot zoom in specifics... not very good with numbers, a group of exact numbers that is...
Or true foresight (not logical) doesn't include the mathematic equations (which is highly logically). It cannot mutually exist. Like a digital camera can zoom in, then cannot pan wide angle at the same time.
But I though most psychics can only see what has happened? And of course most psychics are not psychics

you know i wonder the same thing always .... like i always say when i watch mind freak ... man if this guy is true why does he just not go to the horse races and get all the right numbers and just make himself rich as well as the lottery...hmmm makes you think....maybe its all just a bunch of hocus pocus...cause honestly i know thats what i would do....
