Definitely the classic cars! Those things are the best. They never brake down either. They are still running now days and they are 40 years old. The cars we have now days only last 10 years than fall apart. That's cause that's how they make them now days is so that the average person will buy a new car every 10 years or so. I guess I would just say the 60's. Those seem like good times. I didn't grow up in the 60's, but from what I hear it was good and the movies.

I'm going to get so many thumbs downs for this.
But there use to be a time when men were gentlemen and women were ladylike.
Also there use to be time when the pledge of allegience and prayer started every day of school. Back then kids didnt bring guns to school and there wasnt a need for metal detectors or policemen in schools.
I wish people would realize that as soon as they took God out of schools that they started having these problems.

Clackers. They have stupid little plastic ones now, but they used to have these ones with a plastic handle and strings that were at least at footlong with golfball sized balls on the end made out of glass, do you know what I'm talking about. They banned the darned things the the balls started to shatter and injure people. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? They should be able to make them now with some kind of plastic that doesn't break. You know you shake them up and down and they start "clacking".

I grew up in the "hippie" generation and I always liked things like, "far out", and "groovy", and peace signs, and love beads, and incense and peppermints...
I love long hair on men and beards and mustaches...
I loved bell bottom jeans and fringed jackets and Nehru collars...
I loved rock concerts that were cheap and cool decals you stick on windows...
I loved all the music from the original first Woodstock era...

Ohhhh too many things to mention. On the artful types of things Victorian/goth decor and clothes and artwork. There is so much attention to details rather than current bright, blinding color. It's all about taking time to pay attention to detail rather than standing out and drawing attention. Getting to know what (or who) is there, rather than shock effect.
