I really wish it had have been a really long question actually, as I always read all the details, and try to cover them all with intellectually interesting type.
In answer to your question, one's assumption is that some people are either too busy, and therefore shouldn't be here in the first place, and are simply here for two points, yet others have all the time in the world and go for ten.
It is with great regret that I cannot give an accurate figure, though my estimation is 346781 give or take 1% and explains why some answers make absolutely no sense at all.
I hope this clarifies your question, and if I can be of further assistance, I would be willing to help.
Lol.

If the main question contains 15 paragraphs (arbitrary #), I will read only enough to get the idea within the question. If it doesn't make sense at the very beginning, I know it is not going to get better later on. I move on to another question. I don't answer questions just to get the points, and I'm sure most of the Yahoo! answerers don't either.

I think around 95 percent or so, give or take a percent. I and a few others are the only ones I've noticed that also try to answer the "fine print" questions.
To answer your fine print question, LOL, yea, you have to go back and match up the "yes, no, yes, yes, no" with the questions!!!!!!!!

I always try to answer the entire question but it makes me mad when the fine print changes the original response I wanted to give.

I read the entire question every time, and I agree w/ you. When people do not read the whole question they leave stupid answers that make no sense.

I never answer the main question. I just watch the spaces until I get to a really big one and then start waffling,

I have done that on accident when I was getting a little too tired. No harm intended though. Probably 8)

Not a large percentage do that. But you will agree that they are a satisfied lot and do not crave for best answer rewards.
