Go to a quick lube place and get a t-tech tranny fluid service done. It costs like $70 usd around here and if the car has 100k miles or more it would be an excellent thing to do if it's never been serviced. With the t-tech service they hook a machine to the trans which circulates ALL of the old fluid out, cleans the valve bodies in the trans, and replaces it with new fluid, this process also includes a new tranny filter. Your car's tranny will shift like new and you will have done the best service to it that you could possibly do.
Also, when you drain the fluid in an automatic trans you maybe get half the fluid out of the trans because the rest of it is full of the fluid (torque convertor and all the valve bodies, etc.) If you ran the vehicle the motor oil is mixed in with the tranny fluid and it is now tainted. The only way to get all of the motor oil out is a complete flush done with a special machine...

First transmission fluid is 10w oil so if the oil you poured in it is no thicker that sae30 you should experience no problems as long as you only topped off the oil if you drained and filled the transmission you need to drain and fill with the right tranny fluid but you can take it to a quick lube and they can flush out your transmission and the cooler lines for you if you feel you need to.

Wrong fluid will swell transmission seals, contaminate the clutches. Have the car towed to a shop.

Hallo, first of all, don't worry if you can get to the drain hole then run it of and, refill with correct oil, if you can't do that, then pour transmission oil in to chamber and let it over flow using a liter of trans oil, wipe up spillage and, that should flush out , then drive as normal good luck messy but works

change the oil, as the difference in viscoscity will cause excessive friction in the transmission, ultimately wrecking the gearbox. And also, even if you have only put in a quart, the different oils dont mix.

nothing drain your fluid (if you can depends on car) might have to take it dealer to get it changed believe it or not... but motor oil wont bond with transmission oil and i doubt it would hurt it but id go ahead and get it changed to be safe
