Since senior players are due to retire any time in the near future, the need of the hour is young generation to take over the responsibility and build a new team consisting of talented youngsters for future. I strongly feel that Dhoni is the ideal choice for captaincy as he is calm and cool and never kevel headed. Further the players have a good rapport with him.

He is good player and a sensible cricketer. He can easily grow into a Good One day Captain given time.
This is his first series as a One day Captain - and against the Aussies - easly the best team in the world. He has done a Good job.
Sachin and Sourav are not the same they were 5 years ago. They must realise this and move on.

Ya its a BRAVE move by DHONI.But selection comitee h've no othr choic bcaus Sachin & Dravid r not intrstd in captaincy.Ganguly made a come back to de team just now.Othr players don h've dat much experianc except YUVI & ZAHEER.YUVI doesn h've much leader ship qualities & he'll loose his temperament in nerve reckin situations(U may easily see it in de matches).Its not good to give de captaincy to a bowler...So DHONI is de 1ly eligible person for india's 1 of de dangerous post...
I hope he'll take India to de top.U could see his attitude in de last 2 oneday itself he run to de bowlrs end frm keepin end wenevr AUSIES hit them & looks around de ground for evrybal for field setup & 1 of de new strategy dat he & ROBIN SINGH introduces is dat dey derivd de position for each players while fielding.It would make lot of difrence in de fieldin.But for dat de 3 GURUS of our team h've to cooperat & obey de orders of de captain.One mor importan thing is It would be bettr if de team finds a captain for its test game.Bcause test game requires mor concentration than 1day & T20...
Atleast DHONI will make our team as a dangerous & tuffr one if he cant make it us as CHAMPIONS...

i think dhoni is a good player but not good captain u know y becaz there r alot of seniour player in team like sachin,rahul,sarev,kumble,herbhajan,agarker ,yuvraj ,is senior then dhoni ,both (sen and junior)r confuse .there for i think dhoni is not good for team india

its the right decision.
He is a good player & will prove himself as a good captain as well.
He has already made our team T20 champions.

Its too early for him to lead the Indian cricket team. I feel he should have been given more time to get experience from his seniors.

He has to learen lot of things.He should know how to use his bowlers,he should know how to place the fielders and a lot more to know for him.
