We have 1 daughter now - Madeline. Possibly adopting #2... We are thinking of Malayna... I like M names, can you tell? Anyway, is there another way to spell Malayna?

Malayna is a cute name! If you're looking for alternate spellings, you could go with Malaina, Melaina, Mylayna. . . . Personally I like the way you spelled it though!
Other M names. . . . Meredith, Mckenna, Michelle, Mandi, Marissa.

Malayna sounds like a tropical disease.
Your first daughter's name is very classic and elegant, why not stick to something along those lines? Melanie, Melissa, Melinda, Molly...

Melaina looks pretty to me.
It's nice sounding. You should be aware, though, that the word 'melena' (a medical term meaning black stools) is pronounced like Malayna. People use the name anyway, but I think they should at least be aware.
