YOu tell them to just change your liquid's and don't flush the sysetm . Flushes are recommended but like every 50,00 miles or so . Dealers just want to offer you more stuff so that you can obviously give them more money . What ever drivers manuel came with your car just stick with that you dont need a dealer to tell you what your car needs.

When you talk flush, you should mention what fluids are being flushed.
If it is the oil, then no that is silly.
brake fluid --
that is not a bad idea if the fluid is several years old. The fluid will absorb moisture in the air and then it can cause the fluid to boil if it gets hot and this will put air into the system and make the brakes less effective and possibly could cause the brakes to fail at some point.
engine coolant --
That again is not a bad idea if has been some years since any attention has been spent on the cooling system, and the old fluid has discolored and shows signs of rust in the system. Other than that just drain the fluid and replace.
transmission fluid --
That is also a good idea about every 50K miles or so. When you flush out the old, you are adding new fluid at the same time. Most of the fluid is held in the torque converter and by flushing it when you change it, you remove all of the old fluid and the new fluid will fill the converter too.
power steering fluid --
That is not as critical, but again if it has discolored and shows signs of contamination then you can pull one of the lower hoses and drain it out and replace it with new fluid.
Good luck with the car, by keeping the fluids fresh you will extend the service life of the engine and you'll get many more miles out of it..

flushes are not a bad idea at all. brake fluid (dot 3 and 4) readily absorbs moisture, dropping the boiling point of the fluid that works in an area of extreme friction. transmission fluid, you cant drain the torque converter an most of these vehicles anymore, so a flush or a fluid exchange is more appropriate will do a good job. i have seen a car or two that has had fun in the water and contaminated the fluid. did the service and just like new. if you can afford the machines knock yourself out, but then you run the risk of getting stuck with damaged or broken connections, with little to no answers .
i have even flushed my power steering on my car, just to say that i did. my wifes car also, but for an improved steering response.

If the car is older you want to be careful of a coolant flush because it might cause the radiator to leak or even worse the heater core to start leaking. When they flush the system they put an acidic solution in and run the car up to temp. That can eat away at any weak spots in the cooling system which could soon cause leaks in an older system...Then guess what?...Back to the dealer for them to replace parts. Like someone else said, drain and replace the coolant, don't flush it if it's an older car. Brake fluid flush is a good idea, but then again if it's an older car the clean fluid will lead to higher brake line pressure which could blow out old rusted brake lines...If it aint broke don't fix it...

Are you referring to radiator flushing? That is not normally required as long as you've used a good coolant with rust inhibitor. Follow the manufacturer's schedule for replacement, if specified.
About the only flushing that is reasonable to do is replacing brake fluid, at least the non-synthetic variety, as it accumulates moisture and can contribute to corrosion in the braking system. That is normally done in a "bleeding" operation that approximates "flushing" - new fluid in at the master cylinder, old fluid out at the brake calipers or wheel cylinders.

For coolant systems,chemical flush will loosen alotta solids & these can hurt the seal on the water pump.I recommend ya just pull the lower hose off the radiator to dump it, rinse & refill. Every 2 yrs with green coolant, 4 yrs with red.Transmission 3 or 4 yrs, dump at the pan, new filter & refill.
