Ok. first of all, DONT get me wrong, i LVOVE THEM. i ride them all the time.

but do u think they're pushing the limit?
they're getting more and more extreme

for example, i read about this rollercaoster that pulls 7 G'. well 9 - 10 G's can kill you. Some accelerate way too fast, and the rides g way t fast in general.

Do you think if they're not careful they're bound to push it worse?

uhmm well peole like you
are asking for more thrill rides
and thats why they start making them so extreme

uhmm i think they should have a limit or something because some people can barely take the thrill of a small roller coaster

I just went to Six Flags last weekend. Some of the rides actually looked more scarier than they were (still lots of fun though). The only one where I could really feel the G forces was on this one ride called Tatsu. It takes you up and you're facing the ground. Then you go backwards and drop. I could feel myself being pushed into the seat and just holding on. One of the best rides there. I figure if those airplain pilots can go up there and handle the g-forces (granted they are trained) I could handle a couple for a second or two.

Have you ever read about the roller coaster that was installed back in the 1920's I believe in New York. It was supposed to be the fastest coaster ever. They put 12 people on it for the 1st ride and when they came back to the station, none of them moved. All their necks were snapped. Look it up.

Well. . .before actually opening roller coasters to the public, they go through a series of tests:
1) They simply run the roller coaster
2) They use bean bags as replacements of humans
3) They gather volunteers and poll for their opinions
4) Then they finally open it

i dont know. i mean all the roller coasters i go on i think are safe because lots of people go on em and nothing bad happens to them.
but new roller coasters are a bit of tricky subject.
As long as they are safe, its alright. But then the question is, what constitutes as safe?
If no one gets hurt or damaged and its not dangerously scary, i think its safe.

Dude, I hope they do! I live 40 miles from Cedar Point and i do not think it is possible to go too far with a roller coaster. Bring It on!

Well, people go on coasters knowing that they can be dangerous or hazardous to your health. If someone gets killed for being on a coaster, it is their own fault. But of course, no coaster should be made that is KNOWINGLY going to cause death (ie: a 10G coaster).

Sooner or later the FEDS will get involved and they will be regulated down to the "zoo train" speed.

Get it while you can
