Ever since I had to be medically retired (I am only 38), I would get depressed real easy. I have come to accept it now, but every once in a while I do get depressed because I miss doing my job, because I loved it so much. Besides the support of my family, this place has really helped me a lot. Thanks to such great contacts that have turned into wonderful friends :-)
Sorry I missed this last night, sweetie. I hope you slept well :-)

Not often. I tend to get upset/depressed for an hour or two, then I get bored with myself and try something else. Depression is so boring! I know that sounds funny, but it's just so me-centered. I have 3 kids and don't have enough time to think so much about ME. I get out of my funk by doing something for someone else.....that always cheers me up.

Too often. Life is tough some days. We just have to do our best to try to turn a bad situation around. I've been trying that an awful lot lately and it's getting a little tough!
Where have you been? Haven't seen ya in a while, hope you're doing good.

If I go to areas of yahoo answers that I tend to be passionate about and observe the moral degradation existing today I do get real depressed and will sty away for extended periods to recuperate. I do not want to believe people are really this mean.

Although you might use what I've said recently in the joke/riddle part of answers, I have been depressed almost non stop for the last 4 years... I'm finally coming out of it I think though, don't really know what caused it even.

this time of year is hard for me and feel more depressed. Lost both parents between September and thanksgiving...so fall time is more depressing for me. Also I can't be outside as much and think that has a lot to do with it too.

Not as often as I used to because I watch for the signs that it's coming and I try to take steps to avoid it, I'm not always successful but at least I try!!
